Are the products 100% natural? Yes! Each formula of Lingua Planta embodies the essence of nature. The fragrances are meticulously crafted using carefully selected natural ingredients, organic or wildcrafted when possible, sustainably and ethically produced and made with mostly renewable resources. We strive to harness the power of renewable resources, ensuring a harmonious connection with the environment.

Are the products vegan? Absolutely! Every product in our range is proudly vegan and is never subjected to animal testing. We believe in fostering a compassionate connection with nature and its inhabitants.

Why is there sediment in my perfume? No concerns, this phenomenon arises from the natural orchestration of fragrance. It gracefully unfolds without compromising the fragrance or longevity of the scent. Our commitment to work with natural materials only, leads us to abstain from physical or chemical filtration, allowing for the occasional emergence of sediment over time.

My perfume smells slightly different than the one I had before. Why is this? Each year, we craft several batches of our perfumes, each infused with hand-selected natural ingredients. Thus, the fragrance may subtly vary between batches, embracing the ever-changing nuances of nature.

My product has changed color, how did this happen? Is this a problem? This can naturally happen. In the case of certain products housed in transparent glass, their exposure to elements such as sunlight may spark a metamorphosis of color. Rest assured, this change in color does not change the product; it simply reflects the response of natural ingredients to the caress of sunlight.

How concentrated are the perfumes? Each of our fragrances boasts a minimum of 18% pure perfume oils, ensuring an immersive and long-lasting sensory experience.

I can’t decide on which perfume, can I try first? We invite you to experience our Discovery Kit, a gateway to discovering the scents from the comfort of your own home. Allow the fragrances to transport you on an olfactory journey and find out which one suits you best.

Are there any fragrances in the collection that lean more towards masculinity or femininity? The fragrances of Lingua Planta are gender-neutral. If you are looking for a more warm and floral fragrance, we recommend Attract. Understory and Defend may feel more grounding and fresh.

Can you layer the perfumes? Yes you can. Layering perfumes is like composing your own nature walk. There are no limits to your creative expression. We delight in sharing two of our favorite combinations: layer Attract and Henosis for a warm, smokey floral scent or layer Defend and Repel for a gentle, fresh & lush perfume.

How long are the products durable? Our products possess a natural longevity, enduring for three years from the date of production. Once opened, they continue to sooth your life for a period of 9 to 12 months.

What does Lingua Planta mean? Scientists have discovered that plants communicate with one another and with other organisms through a language of scent. The name Lingua Planta is inspired by the volatiles plants use to communicate with. Lingua Planta has its roots deep down in scientific research but found an aesthetic translation in perfumes.
Can I refill Lingua Planta?
All our glass packaging uses a minimum amount of plastic and are fully reusable. When you choose our refill option you'll receive an aluminium bottle of your chosen perfume to easily replenish your Lingua Planta bottle. We would love if you shoot us a message if you have an empty bottle for a refill. Simply send a mail to info@linguaplanta.com with subject 'refill' and we will get back to you with the details.
